Click here for .pdf documentItasca, Illinois (October 2003): The Formtek Group of companies which includes Cooper Weymouth-Peterson (CWP), B&K, Dahlstrom, Engel, FMI, Hill Engineering, Iowa Precision Industries, Lockformer, Rowe, and Yoder announced the opening of a new production development and application engineering office in New Bremen, Ohio.
This office will provide design concepting, project management and application engineering for precision coiled metal processing equipment sold by Formtek business units under the brand names Iowa Precision; Cooper Weymouth-Peterson; Rowe; B&K, FMI and Dahlstrom. The office will work with Robert Heilman, Director of Market Development at Formtek’s Itasca, Illinois office, to develop and improve Formtek’s product profile in cut-to-length, multi-blanking and slitting applications for a wide variety of steel service centers, toll processors and manufacturing end users.
The office will be headed by Dan Ranly, Director of Engineering, having over 30 years industry experience, assisted by Jim Purdy in Project Management and Bob Schmeising in Application Engineering.
The New Bremen personnel join Pete Swenson, Market Manager for Coiled Metal Processing and the talented sales, operations and engineering teams in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Itasca, Illinois and Clinton, Maine to expand Formtek’s ability to meet the complete needs of the metal forming and metal processing markets.
