Formtek Announces Appointment of McGuire

Itasca, Illinois (Jan. 5, 2004): The Formtek Group of companies which includes Cooper-Weymouth, Peterson (CWP), B&K, Dahlstrom, Engel, FMI, Hill Engineering, Iowa Precision Industries, Lockformer, Rowe, and Yoder announced that Michael McGuire, currently serving as Director of Marketing, has been appointed National Sales Manager responsible for all sales and marketing activity of Formtek Metalforming Integration., LLC (“FMI”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Formtek. FMI, located in South Elgin, Illinois, which specializes in reconditioning and rebuilding forming and fabricating and coiled metal processing equipment, integrating new Formtek equipment with selected rebuilt machinery into metal forming systems and adding control systems to metal forming equipment. FMI shares its facility with AXON Electric, Formtek’s electrical controls distribution business.

Mike, a graduate of Notre Dame University, has been active in the machinery business for almost thirty years with experience selling used and new equipment and tooling to metal fabricators. Mike also previously served Formtek as Manager of Marketing and New Sales for Hill Engineering. Mike will assume his new duties immediately.

In 2004, all marketing activities at Formtek will be coordinated by Don Hill, Executive Vice President, assisted by Melanie Murphy, Marketing Assistant.
