Mechanical stroke limiter provisions consist of tapped holes in the top plate of the servo feeds to allow an operator to insert bolts to limit travel of upper feed roll in piloted operations. In theory this should increase speed of machine while reducing marking due to excess travel of upper roll when processing thin critical surface material. It is critical that the bolts be adjusted evenly to prevent binding of upper feed roll assembly.
