Itasca, Illinois (April 2005): Expanding on a tradition that started in the 1990s, the Formtek Group announced the integration of the Dahlstrom Flexible Fabrication Systems with FMI at the Iowa Precision facility in Cedar Rapids, IA. By integrating FMI and Dahlstrom with the many years of experience at Iowa Precision, customers can expect powerful solutions from leading technologies from each of these industry recognized brands.
FMI Dahlstrom will be lead by Garry Jensen (formally with Borlaug Systems) in the position of Product General Manager - Flexible Fabrication. Garry has over 25 years of experience in Flexible Fabrication Systems solutions to the metal forming industry.
Steve Kerska (Iowa Precision) has been promoted to the position of Engineering Manager for the group.
Burt Lowther (Dahlstrom) and Bill Kuchar (formally with Feldman) each will take on the role as Sr. Sales Engineers for the group.
The Dahlstrom roll forming product line continues to be built at Formtek Metal Forming in Cleveland under the supervision of Dale Kroskey.
