Paul, who has over 21 years experience in the tool and die and rollforming industries, received his engineering and tool and die making education from the Tooling and Manufacturing Association and Triton College.
"I really enjoy promoting the industry, interacting with people and teaching different aspects of the industry," said Paul, who has worked for Hill Engineering since 1988 and has been a speaker and conference chairman for PMA, FMA and SME.
"Don (Hill) was one of the original members of the council and I've always learned a lot when he speaks at a conference," Paul said. "Even today, if Don is giving a speech, I will listen."
As Vice-Chairman, Paul, along with Chairman, Steve Ebel, are responsible for recruiting volunteers, scheduling Council meetings, developing agendas and providing non-partisan leadership in achieving the council goals.
